Sitting alongside names such as Coca-Cola, Diageo, Google, Mastercard, Microsoft and more, Avanti Communications will be driving change to help achieve the Goals by 2030. Each of the 17 Goals, which outline a call-to-action for all countries to end poverty, fight inequality and stop climate change, will be represented by one business.

UN Business Avenger Avanti Communications is responsible for the 4th Goal – Quality Education – in reflection of its wider business commitment to improve education across Africa.

In addition to being part of the Business Avengers, Avanti CEO Kyle Whitehill has pioneered Avanti’s partnership with Project Everyone – the organisation behind communicating the goals – as part of the company’s mission to create better futures for all, and the company is investing in the education of more than 300,000 children across rural Africa.

Avanti’s CEO Kyle Whitehill said:

I’m thrilled Avanti is standing shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the world’s biggest companies. We’re proud to be representing the Goal for education which is at the heart of everything we do.”

This announcement comes on the anniversary of the Sustainable Development Goals which were adopted by the United Nations in September 2015 and highlights the important role that business has in facilitating this step-change over the next 10 years.
